Reminisce Reggae Band
Reminisce Reggae Band was formed in August 2008 by Charles Nelson, bringing together a team of top session musicians well seasoned in all styles of Jamaican music, styles include Ska, Reggae, Rocksteady and more.
As session musicians, our band members have collectively or individually worked with greats of this genre and include all the hits in our set
Although doing functions is our specialty, occasionally you can see us playing a gig somewhere in the South East as well.
Our band members have worked with many top legendary ska/reggae acts including the late Desmond Dekker, (Israelites), Alton Ellis (I’m Still in Love), Dave Barker (Double Barrel), Gregory Isaacs (Night Nurse), The Pioneers (Long Shot), The Melodians (Rivers of Babylon) and more recently UB40's Ali Campbell.
Our set is comprised of material from these classic artists, plus all the other ska/reggae songs you know and love from the British charts, reproduced live by our band to the highest standard.
